	It's summer and the Vindelriver is calm when it's passes the village of Överrödå.
	Runar Enberg (left./direction and production), Börje Eriksson (middle/sound) and Anette Ostrø (right assistent) is waching over the rig of and old Elemack jibb at a roadbank near the village of Hjuken.
	Sometimes the Vindelriver is big as a lake and sometimes it's just a small creek. Here you can see the river floating by the village of Hemfjäll.
	At a enclosed field for reindeers Per Skum has put up his tent tippie and his going to help his son Anders marking the reindeers calves. A few meters from the tippie Per has put up some fishes on sticks and just besides that his four wheel motorbike is standing.
	Since hundreds of years there's a summercamp up at Vindelkroken about 40 km. upstream Vindelriver from the village of Ammarnäs. Here sits Per Skum in a cabin for the men who watches the reindeer hurd.
	In his kitchen the Sami Anders Skum with his son Nils in his lap. Anders is the son of Per and have taken over his reindeerhurd. This day he has given little Nils his first reindeer, the heritage goes on.
	It's Saturdayevening in the city and the people is out having fun. The cinematographer Jens Fischer is pointing his camera towards the bar. The Pub witch this sceen is shoot are called Källare Kaminski.
	At the bar is also Runar Enberg (left./direction och production), Börje Eriksson (middle/sound) och Jon Rudberg (right/assistent cameraman).
	Lars Lindberg is working with his divining-rod. He's scillfull and many wells have it's origination in the county of Sorsele from Lars divining-rod.
	A filmteam in northen Sweden can not resist the temtations of having a dinner of "surströmming" (raw fish), mandelpotatos, onion, bear and a vodka. Börje Eriksson (left/sound) och Jon Rudberg (right/assistant cameraman) toast's in eggcups.
	It's the month of July and up at a enclosed field for reindeers at 1.000 meters over the sea the filmteam have made their camp. After a cold night the assistent cameraman Jon Rudberg is ready for another day of filming.
	Sven Jonsson is over 80 and now he's ready to slaughter all of his reindeers just because that nobody is taking over is reindeer mark and he wont sell it to a stranger. He's two sons will not take over the mark and spend their live the hard way up on the mountains with the reindeer hurd.
	On the Vindelriver ice. It's spring and the reindeer hurd is on it's 400 km. way from the area near the cost where they stay during the winter up to the mountains where the reindeers females are going to have there calves.
